Goodbye Delphi
Scared of loud noises and people, and grass
She dance-walked through the house, on high alert.
Swatting at the lap tray, the enemy of scritches, taking up her favourite spot.
As mysteriously unknowable as her namesake, and invisible in displeasure, Delphi announced her love like a rumble of an earthquake. Unmistakable.
She slipped away quickly, as always. Swift in everything except trust, to the last, hiding from the world in the crook of my arm.

Oh I'm so sorry for your loss, that's heartbreaking, hugs xxx
I'm sorry to hear this. I lost one of my lovely little cats at the start of the year too. I'm sure Delphi has had the best life with you. Sending love xxx
